True Adoration

There has never been a clearer picture of true adoration. Jessica, after running 26.2 miles needed to take an ice bath to calm all of her muscles and joints. Joel David after seeing this picture of her decided that he needed an ice bath too. I did try and talk him out of this and explained to him why she needed an ice bath. It was no use. He had to have one because she had one. :) He did it all the way too! I put a bowl full of ice into cold bath water it wasn't enough for him so he asked for more ice. I then dumped the entire ice tray from our freezer into the water. He took his entire bath in the freezing cold. And he said that he liked it. : ) He is certainly not my child! ( I hate to be cold) I too adore my sister but he gets mega kudos for this display of adoration. I can't compete with this one.

My Sister Rocks!

She's amazing and wonderful and brilliant and she finished the Chicago Marathon in 4 hours, 36 minutes, and 29 seconds. I'm talkin about my sister. SHE IS AWESOME! I am so proud of her. There were 6 of us that flew to Chicago to cheer her on as she ran. It was so much fun! Amazingly, we were able to maneuver among the 1.5 million or so crowd to cheer her on at 8 different points along her 26.2 mile run. Way to go J.A. I'll be there next time too! : )
