Need a pick-me-up?

This smile is sure to do the trick. Is that infectious or what? Silas' smiles typically come one right after the other and are accompanied with coos however, he was too mesmorized by the camera to put on his typical show. That's okay, this one smile is enough to charge my batteries. I hope it is true for you too. :)

BTG and JDG as Eddie

Well, I'm not at all surprised that this video is sideways. Wish I knew how to fix that. I'll figure it out some day. Benjamin and Joel David are quoting Eddie, Francis Ouimet's caddy in the movie "The Greatest Game Ever Played". Joel David just received his golf clubs from Mumsey and PaPa tonight for his 4th birthday. He's just getting the hang of carrying them. :)

Super Si

Taylor has affectionately nicknamed Silas: Super Si. Here he is at 8 weeks old. I am continuing the tradition I started with Benjamin and Joel David of taking a picture of them every week for the first year of their lives. Babies change so much their first year and I've loved capturing it all on "film". I'll probably post future Silas "week" pictures from time to time so look out for them. He is such a happy baby and super smiley too.

Very special day

July 14th, 2008 was a very special day. My little nephew, Thompson was born. I had the privelage of keeping Daveney the night before and taking her to the hospital to meet her brother. Here she is with Silas just before we left for the hospital. Later that evening Taylor and I headed to the hospital and I caught a picture of him with his little mini-me. (Sorry the picture of Thompson is so small. I can't figure out how to make it bigger. I'm still learning.)

Europe bound

Mumsey and Aunt Jessica had to say good bye to 6 week old Silas as they headed out for their European extravaganza. It is so hard to say goodbye. Also, Benjamin and Jeol David got to have a special putt putt date with Papa.

Curbside Treasure

No, I'm not refering to the boys, just the swing that they are sitting on.

Proud big brothers

Wow, I even got a picture on here. (Sorry, I just can't believe my success.)
Benjamin and Joel David are so happy with their new baby brother Silas. This was in the hospital, almost 9 weeks ago. They are both so sweet to Silas. They think he is the greatest.
We had to get a new camera since our old 3.2 megapixel camera broke. Once I install the new camera hardware you'll be treated to some more recent 8.0 megapixel photos of all three of our boys.

I did it!

Can you believe it? I just created a blog spot all by myself. I am tickled pink with my accomplishment. You see, I am totally not computer literate so this has given me a great boost of confidence. I love reading all of my friends blogs and now that I have a new little one (son) I wanted to join the band wagon and have my own blog. Since we are in the middle of a big move I am not promising a lot right now so bear with me. I am super excited and eager to get some postings started.
